Job Description

Fire Alarm Technician DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY. WORK VEHICLE PROVIDED.

Philadelphia PA area

$26.00 $32.00 Hourly

We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team responsible for installing testing and maintaining various security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alarm systems and will be able to troubleshoot and repair systems to ensure optimal performance. The Alarm Technician will work closely with our technical team to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and will be required to travel to various locations to perform maintenance and repairs.


Responsibilities

  • Install test and maintain various security systems including CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair security systems to identify and resolve any technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to identify their security needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or new installations.
  • Use computer hardware and power tools to perform installations repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Telecommunication with customers and technical team members to coordinate maintenance and repair services.
  • Read blueprints and design documents to understand system layouts and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex installations and repairs.
  • Detect and address any security breaches or system malfunctions.



Requirements

  • NICET Certification
  • Experience with CCTV and other security systems.
  • Strong understanding of power tools and computer hardware.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design documents.
  • Experience with system design and installation.
  • Ability to detect and address security breaches or system malfunctions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
