Full Stack Engineer

JOB DETAILS:
Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)
Work model: Hybrid (Porto or Lisbon 1x per week)

DAYTODAY DUTIES:

• Design develop and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java (Spring Boot).
• Build modern responsive web applications with React leveraging hooks state management tools (Redux Context API) and understanding component lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of RESTful APIs.
• Develop and implement solutions using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6) and modern UI frameworks such as MaterialUI or Bootstrap.
• Work with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis focusing on schema design and query optimization.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
• Write and execute backend and frontend tests using testing frameworks like JUnit.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years of experience with Java and deep expertise in Spring Boot for building backend services.
• 3 years of experience developing responsive web applications using React including knowledge of hooks Redux Context API and component lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6) with experience using UI frameworks like MaterialUI or Bootstrap.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration between backend services and React applications.
• Experience working with both relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB Redis).
• Proficiency in version control using Git along with experience in CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit for backend and frontend tests.
