Dental Hygentist

Responsibilities

• Assessing oral health conditions and reviewing patients health history
• Cleaning teeth by removing plaque tartar and stains
• Applying preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides
• Taking dental Xrays and processing them for the dentists review
• Documenting treatment plans and care performed on patients
• Teaching patients about oral hygiene techniques such as how to brush and floss correctly
• Assisting dentists during procedures and giving postoperative instructions
• Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient recall system
• Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications

• Associate degree in dental hygiene (Bachelors degree preferred)
• Current state license to practice dental hygiene
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
• Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detailoriented with a strong patient focus
• Minimum 35 years experience required
• CPR Certified
