Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Officer to join our dynamic finance team. The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in managing financial operations ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare analyze and present financial statements reports and forecasts to management ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Accounts Management: Oversee daytoday accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations internal controls and company policies. Conduct periodic audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow manage bank reconciliations and optimize cash management strategies to support operational needs.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decisionmaking processes including variance analysis costbenefit analysis and trend analysis.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records and documentation ensuring timely and efficient processing of financial transactions.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with external auditors tax advisors and other financial partners to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field. Professional certification (e.g. CPA CMA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in a finance or accounting role with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
