Job Summary: The Senior Financial Officer (SFO) will oversee and manage the companys financial activities including financial planning reporting and analysis. The SFO will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy ensuring financial health and supporting the companys growth objectives. This individual will work closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance and make strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys goals and objectives.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial modeling; analyze financial performance and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements reports and disclosures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks; implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team; foster a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives to internal and external stakeholders including investors and auditors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field (Masters degree or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 810 years of progressive experience in financial management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of financial planning analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations accounting standards and risk management practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team.
