Ultrasound Technologist Allied

Key Responsibilities:

• Imaging Procedures:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients including abdominal obstetric gynecological vascular and other anatomical areas as needed.
  • Explain procedures to patients addressing any questions or concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images and results.
  • Adjust and control ultrasound equipment settings to ensure highquality images.

• Patient Care:

  • Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience as an ultrasound technologist preferred.
  • Demonstrated competence in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations.
• Skills:
  • Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and related technology.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detailoriented with a high degree of accuracy.
