Job Description

Position: Support Services Manager

Start Date: 10/7/2024

Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Pittsfield MA 01201

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8:00 AM 4:30 PM 8

Shift Notes: MondayFriday

Weekend Requirements: No Weekends

OnCall Requirements: No Call

The Candidate will be supervising: Shift Supervisors Site Supervisors Environmental Services Coordinators Project Workers/Facility Service Techs Environmental Services Specialists Guest Services Coordinators Guest Services Associates and Guest Service Representatives.

The Support Services Manager is in charge of managing the Environmental and Guest Services teams daily operations in the hospital. The main objective is to maintain a hygienic and secure environment for patients visitors and hospital personnel. This position entails overseeing an environmental team to ensure all hospital zones are kept clean and disinfected. Additionally overseeing and managing the transport team is also a part of this role.

The crucial responsibilities here include arranging patients transportation within the facility in a safe prompt and efficient manner.

  • Must be flexible to cover office for vacations.
  • Computer proficiencyMicrosoft Office Products and Allegra.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize numerous tasks and demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good writing skills as related to minutes.
  • Excellent Clerical and Organizational Skills including typing data entry
Submission Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 yrs of experience as a Team Leader in a role with supervisory responsibilities within a healthcare setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Traveler must have their vehicle for this need and a CLEAN Drivers License/Record

  • 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
Certification Requirements
