Primary Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Focus on growth of firm revenue by generating new clients (individual and business)
- Manage existing and new client relationships
- Maintain an understanding of the financial planning and investment management processes and the firms products and services
- Participate in client meetings to gather information deliver performance reports and financial plans and provide general client service
- Final review of proposals and applications if prepared by Advisor Support and Service Advisors
- Maintain contact with assigned clients to document and communicate relevant changes and issues
- Proficient with Windows based software including Microsoft Office suite
- Become proficient in the use of firm software relevant to client service
- Advanced case design modeling and scenario building
- Advanced plan and presentation development
- Assist in the oversight and development of Advisor Support and Service Advisor positions
- Attend national/regional industry conferences (FPA Conference)
- Attend producer group meetings (phone/inperson)
- Participate in seminars and other Firm marketing events
- Participate on Advisory Boards as a subject matter expert in their area of expertise
Education/Experience:
- 5 years of financial advisor or service advisor experience
- Bachelors degree from a 4year college or university or equivalent experience. Preferred in the fields of accounting business economics or finance.
Licenses/Designations:
- Series 65 License or qualify as Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) through other methods
- Obtained or in process of attaining professional designations such as ChFC CFP CFA
Experience: Financial Advisory: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification: CFP (Preferred)
