Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Officer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with company goals.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts and establish supplier relationships.
  • Manage purchasing activities including the preparation of purchase orders bid requests and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure that materials and supplies meet the quality standards required by the organization.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the delivery of goods and services to meet business needs.
  • Review and analyze price proposals financial reports and other data to determine reasonable prices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement requirements and support project timelines.
  • Maintain and update supplier records including product specifications delivery times and pricing.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies procedures and regulations.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities cost savings and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes contract management and supplier negotiation.
  • Experience in ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g. CPSM CIPS).
  • Experience in Industry or Sector.
  • Knowledge of local procurement regulations and market conditions.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Oracle or similar.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
