Job Description
Job Title: Software QA Analyst (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop document and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Perform functional integration regression and performance testing on software applications across different platforms.
- Identify document and track defects ensuring accurate reporting and effective resolution.
- Collaborate closely with software developers business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and user stories.
- Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects and suggest potential solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning and daily standups providing input on the QA process and project timelines.
- Use automated testing tools (Selenium JUnit etc.) to enhance testing efficiency where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with QA best practices and maintain QA documentation.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Experience in software quality assurance testing or a related role.
- Handson experience with manual testing as well as automation tools like Selenium JIRA or TestRail.
- Proficiency in writing test scripts test plans and executing test cases.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience in bugtracking systems and QA tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Knowledge of testing across various platforms (web desktop mobile).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in SQL and experience in database testing.
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
