Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and organized storekeeper to join our team in Ikeja. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store ensuring efficient inventory management and maintaining accurate records. The Storekeeper / inventory personnel will play a crucial role in managing stock levels receiving and dispatching goods and ensuring the store is well organized and secure.
Requirements
HND/ BSC in Business administration Accounting logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office.
Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
Job Responsibilities:
Receive inspect and record incoming and outgoing stock.
Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly manner.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping of all stock movements.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Manage the storage of goods to maximize space utilization.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for timely delivery of goods.
Prepare reports on inventory status and stock movements.
Assist with the loading and unloading of goods.
