• Planning, co-ordination, and monitoring of a range of projects & solutions implementations. You will be managing business function accounts, ensure the delivery of assigned IT projects/solutions, co-ordinate with stakeholders, business users, IT colleagues and management, and vendors. This role involves technical understanding, stakeholder management, and cross functional support Ensure Project plans are realistic, maintained and properly resourced.
• Ensure projects are carried out through the defined phases fully complying with MATAR IT processes and procedures.
• Responsible for working closely with vendor partners, business users, contract team and track product implementation project throughout the lifecycle (RFI, RFP/RFT, Technical Evaluation, Implementation, Go live etc.).
• Ensure that assigned systems/applications are adequately supported. Manage the systems/application support teams/suppliers
• Analyze system faults, assess severity levels, and provide solutions
• Link similar problems by users or systems to enable detailed reporting and trend analysis
• Ensure service reviews for external suppliers
• Perform business analysis activities to analyze user requirements, define solutions requirements, and document system specifications.
• Supervise the installations of Audio Video equipment (hardware and software) (such as ISAAC Nemesis and AV Stumpfl Systems, Broadsign and service a plus etc) in 24x7 operational environment.
• Design, develop, and implement base code for audio-visual (AV) systems using ISAAC Nemesis or AV Stumpfl Systems or other software and hardware, include setting up, calibrating, and tuning the systems as per the technical specifications.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in AV systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime, this consist of revising code as necessary.
• Provide technical support to field technicians during installation, maintenance, and repair of AV systems. This may involve guiding them through complex procedures, interpreting technical specifications, or helping troubleshoot unexpected issues.
• Ensure onsite testing of code and system functionality for reliability, stability, and to meet the defined performance metrics.
• Read and comprehend technical schematics, operation manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Verify if all required drawings, codes, site pictures, and other technical documents are complete and accessible.
• Maintain the company’s high standards of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, and team members.
• Adhere to all mandatory safety requirements.
• Time Management, multi-tasking and prioritization of tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail, Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
• Market research, stay updated with the latest AV technologies
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
About you:
• A degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Electronics
• 5-8 years of Audio Video display System Implementation and management experience. Preferably in Aviation Industry
• Project Management Professional, Prince 2 Certification or equivalent experience.
• Certification such as (A+, CCNA, Comptia Network+, MCSA or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate)
• Good understanding of international frameworks such as ISO 20000 & ISO 27001
• Stakeholder / Vendor management
