Responsibilities
The Beckend developer position reports directly to the CTO and is expected to perform the following activities:
Integration of userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with server side logic (node.js and Typescript knowledge/experience is required)
Design and implementation of lowlatency highavailability and performant applications with particular attention to the integration of APIs and Microservices
Integration of data storage/cloud solutions (AWS Google Cloud)
Document the code produced in a clear and diligent manner
Attend Scrum meetings and be responsible for declaring and reporting against the commitment of the sprint effort
Interface with the Q&A manager to resolve any issues raised during testing
Work and communicate effectively with frontend developers
Find innovative solutions to problems and share them with the rest of the team
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has the following experience and characteristics:
- 4 Years work experience as a Backend developer or as a fullstack developer
- 3 Years of experience with Unit Testing and/or E2E Testing
- 3 Years Knowledge and experience with NODEJS and Typescript
- 1years experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Proven ability to integrate APIs and microservices at a fast peace but with attention to details
- Knowledge at B2 level and/or above of the English language (the common language used in the company is English)
- Skills of precision and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude and ability to collaborate efficiently in a remote work environment (no divas only real team players)
