Job Description
This role is for one of the Weekdays clients
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sophisticated Web UI Microservices and API applications incorporating advanced framework API and system integration knowledge.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards best practices and design principles.
- Investigate and debug issues across the entire application stack from Web UI Microservices and APIs to backend integrations.
- Communicate technical insights and recommendations effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Break down user stories and features into actionable tasks providing technical input for project planning estimation and sprint commitments.
- Write unit test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Manage the deployment of web applications across distribution platforms like AWS and enterprise systems.
- Document the codebase project architecture design patterns and implementation details for easy team collaboration.
- Oversee code repositories branches and pull requests ensuring code integrity and resolving conflicts.
- Provide production support when necessary.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong handson experience with Node.js React.js/Next.js TypeScript JavaScript HTML CSS and Bootstrap.
- Proficient in frameworks like Express.js and ORMbased architectures.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies like VS Code Git Jenkins AWS Putty and Postman.
- Cloud platform expertise in Amazon Web Services (S3 EC2 SQS etc.).
- Proficiency with version control systems like GIT/GitHub and Git commands/actions.
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA.
- Web development skills particularly in HTML and JavaScript.
- Expertise in errorhandling middlewares and integrating payment gateways in Node.js.
