Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Act as a handson coder with expertise in programming languages such as Java Python or Scala.
- Work extensively with Big Data technologies like Hadoop MapReduce Spark HBase and Elasticsearch.
- Apply solid knowledge of programming principles and best development practices including version control policies unit testing and code deployment.
- Quickly grasp new concepts and technologies applying them to largescale engineering solutions.
- Deliver exceptional application development support integration and data management.
- Collaborate with customers including leading Fortune 500 companies to understand and meet their strategic needs.
- Stay updated on the latest technology to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI) for clients.
- Write enterpriselevel code with a clear focus on quality and efficiency.
- Design and implement APIs abstractions and integration patterns to address complex distributed computing challenges.
- Define technical requirements automate and productionize data pipelines and explore new Big Data technologies in a parallel processing environment.
- Exhibit strategic thinking with a creative outofthebox problemsolving approach.
- Bring strong analytical and datadriven decisionmaking skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of intellect talent and energy to meet the demands of a fastgrowing private company.
- Take on leadership responsibilities while being handson in executing tasks.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of relevant experience and a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong experience in functional and objectoriented programming particularly with Java Python or Scala.
- Handson expertise with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop MapReduce Spark HBase and Elasticsearch.
- Solid understanding of AWS services and experience working with APIs and microservices.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers data scientists and product managers.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced startup environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience with agile methodology.
- Proficiency in database modeling development data mining and warehousing.
- Experience in architecting and delivering enterprisescale applications including framework and design pattern development.
- Ability to tackle technical challenges propose comprehensive solutions and mentor junior team members.
- Experience working with large complex data sets from various sources.
