Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings briefs and contracts.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and proceedings.
- Manage and organize case files and documents for easy retrieval.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates.
- Assist with case analysis and drafting of case summaries for attorneys.
- Prepare and coordinate deposition and trial exhibits.
- Review and draft correspondence reports and legal documents.
- Organize and maintain reference materials such as statutes regulations and case law.
- Assist in the preparation of legal arguments applications and appeals.
- Coordinate with external agencies and experts for caserelated matters.
- Manage and maintain attorney calendars and schedule appointments.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts and administrative bodies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing time entries and expense reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies Legal Studies or related field.
- Certification from an accredited paralegal program.
- Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
