Job Description

Overview:

This is a secondment role where the hiring is been done by Tax Consulting firm for Client based out at Okhla Industrial Area (Nearest Metro Govindpuri and Okhla NSIC). The Candidate will be working full time on client premises and handling GST compliance and related matters .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely compliance with GST regulations
  • Review and reconcile GST ledgers to ensure accurate reporting
  • Undersatding of GST requirement of output and input on Place of Supply Advance recieved
  • Excell Reconcilliation between books and 2A/ 2B and GSTR 1
  • Preperartion and filing of GST 9 and 9C and relevant reconcilliaton
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and information for GST reporting
  • Participate in crossfunctional teams to address GSTrelated matters
  • Prepare and maintain GSTrelated documentation and records
  • Assist in GST reconciliation and rectification of any discrepancies
  • Assist in conducting GST audits and responding to tax notices
  • Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations
  • Assist in resolving GSTrelated issues and inquiries
  • Provide input on potential GST impacts on business initiatives and transactions
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of GST processes and procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • Semi Qualified or Bachelor s degree in Commerce
  • Professional certification in GST or Taxation is preferred
  • 24 years of experience in GST compliance annual return and reporting
  • Working experience of MNC/ Real estate business preffered
  • Thorough understanding of GST laws regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to adapt to changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Understanding of financial statements and reporting
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
