Job Description
Sr. Network Engineer (L2/L3)
Experience: 6 to 11 years
Key Skills: L2/L3 support Cisco Routing Nexus Switching EIGRPBGP Firewall Management Load Balancer Wireless
Shift: Rotational
Work Mode: 5 days work from office
Work Location: Hyderabad
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement complex network solutions to meet business requirements
- Configure and troubleshoot routers switches and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and optimize network infrastructure
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure network security and compliance with regulations
- Conduct regular network assessments and capacity planning
- Provide 3rd level support on networkrelated issues
- Participate in network architecture design and implementation projects
- Manage network documentation and keep it up to date
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the network
- Lead networkrelated initiatives and projects
- Respond to network incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Implement and maintain network redundancy and failover solutions
- Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot networkrelated issues
- Develop and maintain network disaster recovery plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Professional certifications such as CCNP CCIE or equivalent
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex network solutions
- Extensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols
- Experience with network security technologies and best practices
- Strong understanding of network performance and optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot networkrelated issues effectively
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools
- Experience in network capacity planning and assessment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies
- Experience with softwaredefined networking (SDN) is a plus
- Proven track record of managing and leading network projects
