Job Description
Commercial Kitchen Technician
Location: Alexandria VA/Baltimore MD
Salary: $66560 to $93600/year
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
- Inspect equipment and related components regularly to maintain safety standards and optimal performance.
- Communicate with customers and branch staff regarding the status of repairs ensuring schedules are maintained and delays are effectively communicated.
- Complete service tickets in accordance with company procedures and protocols.
- Manage and track truck stock ensuring necessary parts are available and properly stocked in the service vehicle.
- Maintain service vehicle tools and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards.
- Serve as a positive example and mentor for less experienced technicians promoting the company s values and culture.
- Follow all company policies and procedures with a strong emphasis on safety practices and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver s license with an acceptable driving record.
- 35 years of experience in a related field with strong technical skills in commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment repair.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting service data.
- Possession of standard industry hand tools.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region for service calls.
- Willingness to work some nights weekends and holidays as part of an oncall rotation.
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
- Universal EPA certification is preferred but not required.
