Overview
The Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the organizations message. They are responsible for producing highquality graphics illustrations and layouts for print and digital media ensuring consistency with the brands identity and design standards.
Key responsibilities
- Create visually appealing graphic designs for various platforms including websites social media and print materials
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts that meet business objectives
- Produce highquality illustrations and infographics that convey complex ideas clearly
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion adhering to deadlines and budget constraints
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices in design work
- Contribute to the evolution of the brands visual identity and maintain brand consistency across all materials
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for internal review and feedback
- Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and highquality of designs
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Collaborate with external agencies or freelancers for specialized design needs
- Ensure all designs align with legal and regulatory requirements when applicable
- Conduct quality control checks on all design outputs to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
- Manage and organize design assets including fonts images and templates
- Provide guidance and support to junior designers or interns when necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Visual Arts or a related field
- Demonstrable experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong understanding of typography color theory and layout principles
- Experience in both print and digital design with knowledge of file formats and color modes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload efficiently
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality design work
- Understanding of marketing and branding principles to create designs that align with business objectives
- Knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX best practices is a plus
- Ability to adapt to feedback and make revisions to designs as necessary
- Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing software is advantageous
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Uptodate knowledge of industry trends design tools and technologies
- Experience with print production processes and knowledge of prepress procedures is desirable
