Job Description
Overview:
A JavaScript Developer plays a crucial role in creating scalable and responsive web applications. They are responsible for implementing user interfaces and enhancing the overall user experience through the frontend development of websites and applications. JavaScript Developers collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new userfacing features
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to the back end
- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
- Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3
- Translating designs and wireframes into highquality code
- Assisting in resolving support requests and performing maintenance tasks
- Participating in code reviews and technical documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g. React Angular Vue)
- Understanding of serverside CSS preprocessors
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (e.g. Git)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and modern frontend build pipelines and tools
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
