JavaScript Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing new userfacing features
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to the back end
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
• Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3
• Translating designs and wireframes into highquality code
• Assisting in resolving support requests and performing maintenance tasks
• Participating in code reviews and technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g. React Angular Vue)
• Understanding of serverside CSS preprocessors
• Knowledge of code versioning tools (e.g. Git)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern frontend build pipelines and tools
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
