Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify patients physical problems and establish treatment goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing appropriate physical therapy techniques
- Implement and oversee therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients strength flexibility and endurance
- Use specialized equipment for physical therapy and monitor patients progress
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment plan and home exercises
- Document patients progress adjust treatment plans and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with other medical staff to achieve comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in the delivery of physical therapy services
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience in conducting physical assessments and creating personalized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities
- Compassion and empathy towards patients
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform therapeutic tasks
- Understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
- Continuing education in the field of physical therapy
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience in a clinical setting or rehabilitation facility (preferred)
