Job Title: Assistant Product Development Officer (APDO)
Location: Remote
Commitment: Equitybased Fulltime compensation postfunding 1620 hours per week
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in Agritech or related fields

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Product Development Officer (APDO) to support the PDIO in driving the development of our core products. You will be instrumental in translating ideas into scalable marketready products focusing on our consulting and eCommerce models and developing MVPs for testing. You will take ownership of product pipelines working on strategy testing and deployment while ensuring market fit and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Development:
- Collaborate with the PDIO to conceptualize plan and develop products aimed at solving key industry challenges.
- Oversee and support the product lifecycle from ideation to MVP including market research user feedback and feature development.
- Innovate with a deep understanding of agritech trends to improve product offerings.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Analyze market needs emerging technologies and competitors to inform product development.
- Identify trends and opportunities in agriculture especially around tech solutions to support eCommerce and consulting services.
- MVP Testing & Validation:
- Help in creating a scalable MVP to validate product hypotheses.
- Collaborate with field experts and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration:
- Work with sales marketing and operations teams to align product goals with business objectives.
- Lead collaboration efforts with external consultants partners and clients to drive product excellence.
- Process Optimization:
- Assist in refining product development processes timelines and goals to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
- Ensure all technical solutions are scalable maintainable and aligned with industry standards.
Key Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Agritech: Proven track record in developing successful agricultural or techdriven products with a focus on sustainable solutions.
- Product Lifecycle Expertise: Deep understanding of product design development deployment and MVP testing.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify industry trends and adapt product strategies to market needs.
- Startup Experience: Prior experience in an agile fastpaced startup environment with handson involvement in product development.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with IoT precision agriculture and digital tools used in modern agritech solutions.
- ProblemSolving Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.
