Job Description

Masai School a SeriesB funded JobTech startup is on a mission to pioneer a new model of accessible higher education with no upfront costs and where the school invests in the students instead of the other way around. We are rethinking learning so that we can address the needs of both students and employers in tandem. Masai School offers intensive & immersive courses that impart the technical skills and soft skills they need to launch a new tech career. We offer both fulltime and parttime courses to our students.

Role: This is a Fulltime role Work from office HSR Layout Bangalore

Responsibilities:

  • Community Building: Develop and maintain a strong and engaged community. Foster positivity and a sense of belonging among alumni through regular communication and outreach efforts.
  • Engagement and Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to encourage their active participation in community activities and events. Foster a collaborative environment where students feel valued and appreciated.
  • Event Organization: Plan organize and execute events for students including reunions networking events and valueadded sessions. Ensure each event is wellcoordinated and meets the needs and interests of the alumni community.
  • Content Creation: Collect and capture student stories through interviews and discussions. Create and share content that celebrates their achievements and contributions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage and update the student database track engagement metrics and prepare reports on student activities and initiatives.
  • Buzz Creation and Admissions Support: Achieve targets to create buzz on social media platforms and inspire new admissions by highlighting alumni success stories and positive experiences. Collaborate with the admissions team to leverage alumni connections to help onboard students.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in managing student / alumni community customer care clientfacing roles relationship building event planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Must be a gogetter
  • Creative thinking and storytelling abilities.
  • A passion for education and a belief in the transformative power of tech education.
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field (e.g. Communications Marketing Event Management Public Relations) would be useful but not mandatory
