Job Description
Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown Virginia is GROWING!! We are looking to add an emergency veterinarian to our four DVM awesome team! Our ideal veterinarian candidate would be open to working nights and weekends. Weekday shifts are 5:30pm to 8am. Both day and overnight shifts are available on the weekends.
We are a privately owned clinic dedicated to providing state of the art emergency & critical care for small animals & some exotic pets. We offer laser therapy hospitalisation bloodworm (Abatis blood machine) and most emergency surgeries.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) from an accredited university and an active veterinary state license
- 5 Years of Veterinary Experience
- Current DEA License/USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
- Compassionate leader with the experience and willingness to manage a team and promote a positive clinic culture as it aligns with Alliance Animal Health s core values
- Effective communicator with a drive to provide the highest quality medicine and mentor other veterinarians to do so as well
