Our client is a digital media agency in Africa that helps individuals and corporate brands position themselves online through effective digital media solutions. Due to expansion they are in need of a Marketing Strategist.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a marketing strategist at their organization you will develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the agencys and clients business objectives. You will be crucial in enhancing brand visibility generating leads increasing sales and achieving overall marketing success.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coordinate the marketing activities of the company and its clients.
- Define clear and measurable marketing objectives based on business targets.
- Align these goals with the brand s overall strategy.
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans encompassing various channels (digital social media etc.).
- Create campaigns to increase web traffic and drive engagement.
- Regularly evaluate performance metrics such as conversion clickthrough and ROI.
- Use data insights to refine strategies and optimize campaigns.
- Stay informed about industry trends consumer behavior and competitor activities.
- Anticipate shifts in the market landscape.
- Research and identify new opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify gaps customer needs and emerging trends.
- Propose innovative ideas to promote the brand and its products.
- Oversee each platform that we manage for the organization and its clients.
- This will include social media accounts websites newsletters and similar platforms.
- Manage and work closely with crossfunctional teams (content writing graphics design and video editing) to align marketing efforts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record as a Marketing Strategist with at least 2 years experience.
- A Bachelor s degree in Marketing or a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration Communication).
- Teachability
- Demonstrable success with marketing campaigns.
- Have a firm grasp of digital marketing.
- Have an indepth knowledge of marketing analytics.
- Indepth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems. (CMS).
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Comfortable working with metrics and KPIs.
- Experience in managing teams or collaborating with crossfunctional groups.
