Job Brief:
We at IIDE are looking for a competent Student Life Associate / Assistant Manager Student Life to oversee and organize events that will create a lasting impact on our student community. You will ensure the success of events by focusing on creative while adhering to budget and time constraints. Were seeking candidates with fresh innovative ideas that align with IIDE s culture and current trends. The ideal candidate will also have a solid grasp of marketing and promotional techniques to maximize event reach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Brainstorm and implement event concepts that resonate with students and stakeholders
Develop detailed event proposals and secure approval from relevant stakeholders
Manage and adhere to event budgets ensuring costeffective solutions
Document event expenses and process invoices for accurate financial reporting
Source negotiate and coordinate with vendors and suppliers
Ensure smooth event logistics and timely delivery of all event elements
Collaborate with the Social Media team to ensure coverage and promotion of events
Prepare postevent reports analyzing expenses and event success metrics
StudentCentric Responsibilities:
Lead and implement initiatives aligned with the objectives of the Student Life division
Manage student orientation programs to introduce new students to campus life and foster engagement
Serve as a key point of communication for students including maintaining the student handbook & newsletter
Oversee the of student events like volunteer activities sports entertainment and cultural celebrations
Coordinate largescale campus events such as graduation ceremonies and national day celebrations
Support student development leadership and counseling programs to enhance their overall campus experience
Act as a guide for Student Council groups/clubs providing mentorship and logistical support
Collaborate with academics and central services for eventrelated data and reporting
Requirements & Skills:
Candidates with minimum 1 year of experience in event management / student life
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Slides)
A degree in Event management Hospitality PR Marketing or related fields is preferred
Passion for creating engaging events and fostering campus culture
