Financial Manager

The Financial Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the company and drive the companys financial strategy and planning. The role involves managing financial controls budgeting forecasting and providing financial reports and advice to support the companys business strategy and decisionmaking processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of financial management and accounting principles.

• Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Develop and manage financial plans budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare regular management reports.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for business initiatives and investments.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the monthend and yearend closing processes.

• Risk Management:

  • Identify and manage financial risks including market credit and operational risks.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the companys liquidity funding and capital requirements.

• Treasury & Cash Management:

  • Oversee cash flow management and optimize the companys working capital.
  • Manage relationships with banks auditors and other financial institutions.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies in line with the companys risk appetite.

• Team Leadership:

  • Lead mentor and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the finance department.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial objectives with overall business strategy.

• Compliance & Taxation:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory financial documents.
  • Manage internal and external audits ensuring all findings are addressed and rectified.

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (Masters degree or CPA/CFA preferred).
• Minimum of 57 years of experience in financial management preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks).
