Job Description: VP of Business Development

Company: Augmentjobs
Salary Range: $80000 $120000
Experience Level: 2 5 years

Position Overview:

As the VP of Business Development at Augmentjobs you will be responsible for driving the companys growth by developing and executing strategies to expand our client base forge strategic partnerships and enhance revenue streams. You will lead a dynamic team to identify new business opportunities build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that the companys business development goals align with its overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.

    • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.

  2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Lead efforts to identify prospect and secure new clients and partnerships.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and strategic partners to foster longterm collaborations.

  3. Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.

    • Foster a collaborative and resultsdriven team culture.

  4. Revenue Generation:

    • Develop and execute initiatives to drive revenue growth including negotiating and closing highvalue deals.

    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development activities.

  5. Market and Industry Analysis:

    • Conduct research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities.

    • Utilize insights to make informed decisions and adapt strategies as needed.

  6. CrossFunctional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other departments including marketing sales and product development to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts.

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.

  7. Reporting and Communication:

    • Prepare and present regular reports on business development progress achievements and challenges to senior management.

    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build trust and credibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience:

    • 25 years of experience in business development sales or a related field with a proven track record of success.

    • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred.

  2. Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

  3. Strategic Thinking:

    • Strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve objectives.

  4. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate deals.

  5. Relationship Building:

    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients partners and internal teams.

  6. Analytical Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.

  7. Leadership:

    • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating a team to achieve goals.

  8. Adaptability:

    • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.

  9. Technical Proficiency:

    • Proficiency in business development tools and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the industry specific to Augmentjobs sector.

  • Strong network and connections within the industry.
