Civil Project Manager PE

Job Description:

As a Civil Project Manager specializing in land development you will lead engineering projects focusing on site planning grading drainage utility design and permitting. This role involves close collaboration with clients consultants and internal teams to ensure timely and costeffective project completion while adhering to regulatory standards.

• Lead the planning design and of land development projects ensuring they stay on track with timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site evaluations feasibility studies and due diligence assessments for project viability.
• Develop engineering designs and plans using industrystandard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) for site layout grading drainage and utilities.
• Submit permit applications and ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.
• Manage project budgets schedules and resources to meet project objectives.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders such as architects surveyors and contractors to resolve design conflicts.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff to foster professional development.
• Promote collaboration innovation and excellence within the project team.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of land development regulations zoning codes and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication leadership and multitasking skills.
• Client management and business development experience is a plus.
