This position performs tasks of varying complexity. These include decontamination of soiled instrumentation and equipment stocking of shelves issuing patient care supplies and equipment preparing supplies for surgical cases performing routine departmental preventative maintenance maintaining departmental charge and tracking information and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assesses equipment and instrument needs as they relate to each department of the hospital.
- Plans activities based on specific procedures being performed.
- Implements activities to efficiently maintain and distribute equipment and instruments.
- Evaluate the cleanliness and safety of the unit as well as the number and the amount of supplies required to maintain adequate levels within the department.
- Self Management: Demonstrates effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships.
Requirement description :
- 2 years of experience Required
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- HSPA or CBSPD Certification Required
- Travel Experience Highly Preferred
