Job Description
St. Mary Medical Center is looking for a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Dates of Coverage: Starting as soon as credentialed for weekend coverage.
- Reason for Coverage: Down to 2 surgeons will need a locums for some weekend help
- Practice Setting: hospital based/ rounding
- Call Ratio: as needed 1:3
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: varies very few on weekends
- Trauma Level/Designation: II
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Description of Ancillary Staff: APP rounding Surgical PA
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult / Geriatric
- Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery General Thoracic Surgery
- Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: varies on aorta
- Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG
- Procedures Required: Pericardial Window Tube Thoracostomy Thoracic aortic aneurysms
- Facility will Reimburse Flight and Hotel
- Would prefer Local Candidates
Requirement description :
- Board Certified Required
- Fellowship Training Required
- PA License Preferred
- BLS ACLS Required
- DEA Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
- 25K Conversion Rate
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ACLS
- BLS
- Board Certified
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Pennsylvania
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Weekends needed
On Call Requirements : Weekend Call
