Store Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Store Maintenance Technician with HVAC experience or certification to join our team. This position involves managing and performing a wide variety of facility maintenance tasks in a large retail setting including HVAC mechanical plumbing electrical repairs and general upkeep.
Responsibilities:
- Manage facility maintenance duties using the companys cloudbased maintenance management system and mobile app.
- Perform repairs and replacements in areas such as HVAC mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
- Act as project manager on all work orders supervising the work of contract labor.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for thirdparty vendors.
- Keep management informed of any budget concerns or equipment replacement needs.
- Inspect and supervise the work of outside contractors to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
- Maintain records and prepare required reports.
- Contribute to equipment replacement decisions by providing relevant information.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and building maintenance practices.
- Understanding of roofing repairs and electrical/plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in analyzing and solving problems costeffectively.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in construction or facilities project management is desirable.
