Job Description

Paymentology exists to enable fintechs digital and tier 2 & 3 banks to effortlessly launch and manage innovative payment solutions on a global scale driving greater customer choice value and financial inclusion.

As we expand we are looking for a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team as a Strategy and Planning Director.



What you get to do::

The Strategy and Planning Director will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and the executive team in driving operational excellence across the organisation. This is a handson role that will focus on optimising processes ensuring smooth daytoday of our management cadences and our strategic initiatives managing our annual strategy & planning process and driving crossfunctional collaboration.

This position requires a versatile individual with a proven track record in managing complex operational environments who has the potential to grow into a senior leadership role within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the right hand to the CEO ensuring priorities are effectively managed key objectives are met and daytoday operations run smoothly.
  • Lead and manage crossfunctional projects that drive operational efficiency and scale the business.
  • Identify and resolve process bottlenecks while constantly looking for opportunities to improve existing operational frameworks.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment on business goals and provide support on critical initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team offering insights and recommendations to improve decisionmaking and strategy .
  • Manage key meetings tracking deliverables and ensuring followups on actions driving accountability across the leadership team.
  • Prepare and present reports briefings and updates for the CEO and executive team on key issues.
  • Act as a cultural leader promoting a positive resilient and growthoriented mindset across the business.
  • Support the CEO in external stakeholder management including investor relations partnerships and other highprofile engagements.
  • Handles sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy.

Requirements :

What it takes to succeed:

  • 510 years of work experience in business management or an executive role within a dynamic fastpaced environment ideally with a consulting background.
  • Experience in data analysis and budget management.
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Strong operational experience with a proven ability to drive processes and execute efficiently in a growing business.
  • Flexible and adaptable able to pivot between tasks and adjust priorities in a fastmoving environment.
  • Confident and resilient able to handle pressure and act as a steady hand during periods of change and uncertainty.
  • Positive cando attitude with a focus on solutions rather than problems.
  • High potential for future growth into a business leadership role able to guide teams and manage up down and across.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong project management skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
