Our Game Plan
Are you hyped about solving humanities energy problems Are you ready to deliver one of the biggest engineering feats in history If so weve got an opportunity for you to lead the charge in unlocking Earths most abundant and untapped energy source: ultradeep geothermal energy.
We believe the solution to the planets energy problems lies beneath us. Geothermal is an almost abundant green energy source that is unfortunately currently limited to specific geological conditions. How do we overcome that By drilling very very deep deeper than ever before. This way we can unlock geothermal energy everywhere on the planet on a massive scale. The physics check out its a pure engineering challenge. We have spent the last months on deeply researching this opportunity and have developed a playbook to build a truly transformative deep geothermal energy company. Now we are assembling a team.
Tasks
What you will do
- Lead the Charge: You are building this from the ground up with a team of likeminded people!
- Initiate the tech development: We have an idea on how to do it but you will take over the R&D. Identify solutions for core tech risks. Plan the lab and testing facility. Start testing and prototyping of missioncritical parts.
- Initiate the business development: Identify sites and partners for pilot projects. Work out an early business case. Start grant applications and initiate fundraising.

Who we are looking for
This feat will not be a one man/woman show and we have several important roles in mind that we want to bring together as a team.
- Rockstar engineers with a proven track record of solving complex & multidisciplinary problems.
- Diverse engineering backgrounds: We need to think outside the box and cant stick to industrial conventions. Of course we are also looking for experts in drilling technology and geothermal power.
- Commercial savviness: We need people who solve drilling but also have the ability to turn it into an exciting business.
- Handson contributors: You are leading the charge. We need you to get your hands dirty in a small team but still be able to grow the organisation later.
- You need to burn for solving renewable energy. This is just the kickoff and we need you to be ready to go the distance. We need people who see this from inception to scaling.

KickOff Phase:
- The initial phase is a 4month sprint. We will support you with kickoff funding during this period.
- The goal of this phase is to lay the groundwork for the next financing round.
Take over:
- After the kickoff phase you have the chance to take over as a founder and lead the company through the fundraising process and beyond.
- We have enough ammunition for a followon investment and will leverage our investor network to support you.
- As a founder you are in full control and have unlimited upside.
