Senior Substation Project Engineer

Based in our Juno Beach facility you will manage the engineering aspects of diverse projects across Florida.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead renewable generation substation projects from concept to commissioning.
• Collaborate with the EarlyStage Project Manager to define project scopes and engineering needs.
• Oversee detailed planning including work schedules cost estimates resource allocation and risk management.
• Conduct regular project meetings track progress and analyze results to ensure timely completion.
• Provide technical oversight and training to external engineers ensuring compliance with interconnection standards.
• Communicate project status and key findings to internal and external stakeholders through presentations and reports.

Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with the ability to travel across worksites in Florida.
• Strong project management skills with experience in renewable energy or substation projects.
• Ability to manage large or complex projects within set budgets and timelines.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal for stakeholder collaboration.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field; professional engineering certification is a plus.
