Job Description
Are you passionate about shaping a sustainable future Join our forwardthinking team as a Senior Substation Project Engineer. This role involves leading a talented team in delivering renewable generation substation projects from earlystage design to . Based in our Juno Beach facility you will manage the engineering aspects of diverse projects across Florida.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead renewable generation substation projects from concept to commissioning.
- Collaborate with the EarlyStage Project Manager to define project scopes and engineering needs.
- Oversee detailed planning including work schedules cost estimates resource allocation and risk management.
- Conduct regular project meetings track progress and analyze results to ensure timely completion.
- Provide technical oversight and training to external engineers ensuring compliance with interconnection standards.
- Communicate project status and key findings to internal and external stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license with the ability to travel across worksites in Florida.
- Strong project management skills with experience in renewable energy or substation projects.
- Ability to manage large or complex projects within set budgets and timelines.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal for stakeholder collaboration.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field; professional engineering certification is a plus.
