ROLE PURPOSE
The Corporate Food & Beverage Director is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and seamless operation of food and beverage services across highend properties in Saudi Arabia. This role demands a visionary leader with an exceptional flair for luxury hospitality who can uphold and elevate the highest standards of culinary excellence and service. The incumbent will ensure consistency in guest experience operational efficiency and financial performance while traveling frequently between properties to provide handson management and to tailor services to the discerning tastes of guests. This position requires a dynamic professional who excels in strategic planning team leadership and innovation in food and beverage offerings ensuring each property delivers a unique and memorable dining experience that aligns with the prestigious reputation of the brand.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITES AND ACTIVITIES
Operational Excellence
- Ensure the highest standards of service quality and guest satisfaction across all properties.
- Oversee the daily operations of food and beverage departments ensuring efficiency and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with executive chefs to create and update menus that reflect the latest trends in fine dining and cater to the preferences of discerning guests and ensure menus are consistent across properties while allowing for local customization and seasonal variations.
Quality Assurance
- Personally engage with guests to understand their preferences and ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards across all properties.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and operational excellence.
Leadership & Training
- Develop and implement a cohesive food and beverage strategy aligned with the luxury standards of the properties.
- Lead mentor and develop a highperforming team of F&B managers and staff across all locations.
- Oversee the planning and of highprofile events and private functions ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for guests.
Maintenance & Safety
- Establish and maintain relationships with premium vendors and suppliers to ensure the consistent quality of food and beverage products.
- Ensure all F&B equipment across properties is regularly maintained and serviced to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency.
- Establish and enforce safety protocols to protect guests and staff ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations.
Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage the food and beverage budget including cost control implementing cost control measures to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
- Optimize the allocation of resources including staffing supplies and equipment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Evaluate and adjust resource needs based on operational demands and guest requirements.
BACKGROUND SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Culinary Arts Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing operational functions and managing multiple properties.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership with a strategic and visionary approach to operational management.
- Possesses strong analytical skills to interpret data identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in developing and implementing operational standards processes and procedures with strong negotiation skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently between properties in Saudi Arabia.
