We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in industrial automation with proven expertise in process industry applications particularly within the food and material processing sectors. This role requires a proactive individual with a knack for building strong relationships and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients focusing on understanding their needs and providing tailored automation solutions.
- Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the process industry with a particular emphasis on the food and material processing sectors.
- Collaborate with Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) partners to promote and sell automation products and solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals ensuring customer satisfaction and longterm business relationships.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers demonstrating the value and benefits of our automation products.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to effectively position our products in the market.
- Utilize internal sales platforms and tools including Microsoft Office and SAP to track and manage sales activities and performance.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients showcasing our capabilities and solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Technical Engineering (Mechatronics Electrical Mechanical) preferred.
- 34 years of related work experience in a similar position within industrial automation.
- Proven experience in the process industry or food material processing.
- Expertise in process automation products is preferred.
- Strong relationshipbuilding skills with a track record of first sales experience through EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction).
- Experience in selling products or providing solutions to the mining industry subsegment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office SAP and internal sales platforms.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
