One of our flagship products the bamboo towel has achieved remarkable success with over $628000 raised on Kickstarter and 45000 towels delivered to 83 countries transforming travel while supporting our ecological mission.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow and optimization of goods through strategic planning coordination and of all supply chain aspects. This includes sourcing inventory management inbound/outbound logistics and quality control. The role aims to enhance customer satisfaction maximize operational efficiency and contribute to the overall success and profitability of the company from order placement to warehouse delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing:

    • Identify and engage new suppliers and vendors to fulfill the companys product equipment and component requirements.
  2. Purchasing:

    • Place orders for outsourced products and internal production equipment and components.
    • Negotiate prices and terms schedule deliveries prepare necessary documentation (Purchase Orders tech packs) and coordinate payments.
  3. Production Supervision:

    • Oversee suppliers to ensure timely product delivery and address any arising issues.
    • Supervise internal production requirements at the PANGEA Innovation Center.
  4. Quality Control:

    • Manage thirdparty inspection companies to perform quality control on finished goods ensuring excellent quality and preventing defective products from reaching customers.
  5. Inbound Logistics:

    • Manage inbound deliveries from suppliers to multiple warehouses including customs and import duties shipping modes and speeds and logistics provider evaluations.
  6. ImportExport Logistics:

    • Handle the import and export processes and documents such as commercial invoices packing lists certificates of origin and shipping instructions.
    • Collaborate with thirdparty agencies when necessary.
  7. Outbound Logistics:

    • Supervise the Outbound Logistics Assistant to ensure timely and budgetcompliant delivery of orders to fulfillment centers and various customers (online retail consignment wholesale).
  8. Inventory Management:

    • Oversee item setup across departments including SKU and EAN code management.
    • Track and monitor inventory levels across multiple locations ensuring synchronization with the inventory system through regular counts and reconciliations.
    • Employ forecasting to place new orders timely preventing stockouts.
  9. COGS Calculation for Financial Statements:

    • Collaborate with the Bookkeeper to provide inventory movements and levels for monthly COGS and asset calculations and supply BOM and other necessary documents.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  1. Gross Margin (COGS/Selling Price)
  2. Days of Inventory on Hand
  3. Average Fulfillment Time
  4. Average Shipping Cost
  5. Inventory Turnover Ratio
  6. Supplier Lead Time

Qualifications:

  • Willing to relocate to Badung Bali.
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar supply chain or logistics position preferably within an ecommerce company handling global logistics.
  • Over 2 years of experience sourcing from thirdparty suppliers in China and Southeast Asia.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in using Inventory Management Software and ecommerce platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
