Job Description

My Client is a is a global leader in sustainable technology focused on providing advanced solutions for clean energy generation and storage. Their mission revolves around building a sustainable future by harnessing cuttingedge technology to accelerate the transition to renewable energy on a global scale.

They are looking for an experienced Key Account Director to join their growing team within the renewable energy sector. In this role you will build and nurture relationships with key clients driving both business expansion and exceptional customer satisfaction. Your ability to strategically manage accounts align with client goals and implement renewable energy solutions will be critical to their continued success.

This position calls for strong communication skills strategic thinking and deep knowledge of renewable energy markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic account plans to meet sales objectives and boost revenue within key energy markets.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers within client organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities drive crossselling and upsell within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across sales engineering project management and operations to ensure smooth project and topnotch customer service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends market shifts and competitor strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to measure client satisfaction resolve issues and identify improvement areas.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals negotiate contracts and close deals with support from the sales team.
  • Monitor key account performance including sales customer satisfaction and profitability adjusting strategies to meet objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for key clients addressing inquiries resolving issues and ensuring they receive timely support.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop tailored marketing materials and campaigns for key accounts.
  • Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to promote our renewable energy solutions and grow the client base.

Qualifications & Expertise:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • 10 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager or a similar role in the renewable energy industry.
  • High level contacts within major energy providers in Europe.
  • Extensive knowledge of renewable energy sectors including wind solar and emerging technologies.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong negotiation presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to grasp technical aspects of renewable energy solutions and communicate them effectively.
  • Selfdriven goaloriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to handle complex challenges.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events..
