Job Description

About the Role:

The Insolvency Consultant is responsible for independently managing insolvency files from start to finish with minimal supervision. This includes handling small business restructures regulatory lodgements with ASIC and ATO preparing reports for creditors and conducting investigations all while adhering to strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will be selfmotivated organized and capable of managing multiple files at various stages of completion in a professional manner with prior experience in Australian insolvency procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage insolvency files from initiation to resolution with minimal supervision.
  • Undertake small business restructures ensuring compliance with relevant Australian regulations.
  • Lodge documents with ASIC and ATO accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Handle firstday correspondence and place statutory adverts as required.
  • Follow established checklists to ensure all procedural steps are completed effectively.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports for creditors managing communications efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into insolvency matters.
  • Finalize insolvency matters within strict timeframes ensuring all legal and procedural requirements are met.

Requirements


Qualifications Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • At least 1.5 years of experience in insolvency or a related field with a focus on the Australian context
  • Proven ability to manage multiple files and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with small business restructures and regulatory lodgements including ASIC and ATO submissions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially in preparing reports and handlin correspondence.
  • Ability to work professionally and independently with minimal handson training.
Additional Job Details:

Setup and Location: WFH/Remote
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Fulltime
