SQL Developer duties and responsibilities

Development of highquality database solutions.

Develop implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using TSQL

Research required data.

Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

Suggest new queries.

Monitor code migration and database change management through various stages of the development cycle.

Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.

Develop implement maintain policies and procedures and document database architecture to ensure security and integrity of the databases.

Review new database schema changes.

SQL Developer requirements and qualifications

35 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role

Excellent understanding of TSQL programming

BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject

Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server & PostgresSQL database

Knowledge of git Source Control. and Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or deployment automation tools.

Ability to work with development and operations teams to tune production queries for optimal performance.
