About the Role:
Sunbytes is looking for a fulltime PHP (WordPress) Developer to join our team to maximize the power of digital technologies. You will play a key role in innovating and evolving new digital solutions for our clients across various business domains.
- Design and develop robust scalable software using WordPress solution.
- Plan prioritize and execute tasks across all stages of the software development lifecycle ensuring timely and highquality delivery.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external teams to provide toptier solutions.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in software development technologies and integrate them into the development process.
Requirements
Technical skills:
- Proven experience as a software engineer demonstrating success in delivering similar solutions.
- Extensive experience in PHP particularly with WordPress including developing and managing WordPress environments.
- Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with CI/CD practices.
- Experience implementing security measures in both backend and frontend development environments.
Soft skills:
- Strong communication skills capable of explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms for nontechnical audiences.
- Selfmotivated and committed to continuous learning and development.
- A collaborative team player with a transparent communication style.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Fluent in English.

Must have skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of professional experience in Java development. Strong knowledge of core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns. Proficiency in SQL and database interaction. Good verbal and written English skills for collaboration with international teams It s a plus if you also have knowledge of Angular or Reactjs Nice to have skills Experience with JAVA EE, including a solid understanding of Java EE technologies such as EJB (Enterprise JavaBeans) and JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Web Services). Proficiency with Document databases such as MongoDB. Agile and Scrum development methodologies exposure. Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, OpenShift). CI/CD pipeline familiarity. Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
