Job Summary:
The Interior Site Supervisor oversees the daytoday activities of interior construction projects ensuring timely completion quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Management:
Supervise and coordinate interior trades including carpentry drywall painting and finishing.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress quality and safety.
Implement and enforce site rules regulations and safety protocols.
2. Team Management:
Lead and direct site staff subcontractors and laborers.
Provide guidance training and feedback to ensure skill development.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
3. Quality Control:
Ensure compliance with project specifications plans and quality standards.
Identify and resolve defects deficiencies or nonconformities.
Conduct regular quality inspections and report findings.
4. Safety and Risk Management:
Implement and maintain sitespecific safety plans and procedures.
Conduct safety orientations training and toolbox talks.
Investigate incidents near misses and report to management.
5. Communication and Coordination:
Liaise with project managers architects engineers and clients.
Coordinate material deliveries storage and inventory management.
Provide progress updates reports and documentation.
6. ProblemSolving and Troubleshooting:
Resolve site conflicts disputes or issues promptly.
Address technical challenges defects or design inconsistencies.
Collaborate with project team to find solutions.
7. Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records logs and documentation.
Track and report labor hours productivity and costs.
Assist with scheduling budgeting and cost control.
Requirements:
3 years of experience in interior construction supervision.
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management Architecture or related field preferred.
Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g. Procore PlanGrid).
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
