You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailTo take an active part in the development of our engines. This involves performing CFDsimulations of engine components and systems using our primary CFDcode Star CCM.
The development process is run through regular meetings during which the CAE engineer is expected tohave an active role in defining what simulations need to be made and presenting an analysis ofthe results from the simulations that have been performed.
The CAE engineer also has a responsibility to continuously strive to improve the methodologies used for the simulations.
For this position the CAE engineer will mainly perform work related to the cooling system and to the exhaust ertreatment system. If needed the person may also be required to help in other areas.
Requirements:
M Sc or higher academic degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Engineering Physics or comparable.
A minimum of four years experience in industrially applied CFD simulations.
Professional level of proficiency in Star CCM.
Experience of the software ANSA.
Meritorious:
Experience of modelling rotating geometries such as turbines and compressors.
Cooling Jacket simulations
Experience in simulations using conjugate heat transfer
