Tasks
- Design develop and maintain highquality COBOL applications and systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in existing COBOL applications.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with COBOL in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and transaction processing systems.
- Proficiency in debugging troubleshooting and optimizing COBOL code.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
