Job Description
Headquartered in Tokyo Japan Evident employs around 4500 people at a total of 57 locations worldwide. Evident Europe headquartered in Hamburg Germany employs approximately 770 people in 16 countries. The product portfolio includes a wide range of microscope systems used in clinical diagnostics medical and basic research as well as in various industrial areas. In addition Evident offers videoscopes products for nondestructive testing techniques and for Xray fluorescence analysis.
Currently we are looking for a student (m/f/d) that would like to do an Internship (m/f/d) in Financial Controlling for a duration of ideally 6 months.
Tasks
- Analyze and optimize payment processes to improve efficiency.
- Independently create presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare analyze and comment on monthly financial results for various business areas.
- Support in the creation of adhoc analyses on business developments.
- Assist in administrative tasks related to the monthly closing process.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience in data analysis.
- Affinity for IT systems and a keen interest in using technology to streamline processes.
- Highly organized and structured working style with attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for learning and supporting controlling and financial planning processes.
- Basic knowledge of SAP system is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment particularly during timesensitive tasks like monthend closing and budgeting phases.
