Dive into the heart of logistics with a pivotal role as a Senior Freight Forwarder where youll join a team committed to excellence and cost efficiency. This role places you at the center of our easteuropean operations where youll manage and optimize collection and delivery of goods to ensure toptier service level to our international clientele.
This role is based in Budapest.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate efficient and costeffective collection and delivery services using both company and subcontracted resources.
- Ensure sufficient haulage is available to meet service standards aligning collections with deliveries.
- Maintain close communication with customers and hauliers
- Address and resolve any servicerelated issues or incidents promptly.
- Maintain and update the ERP system accurately.
- Prepare reports and support periodend accounting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements particularly concerning hazardous
Requirements
You are an effective communicator with the ability to interact professionally at all levels. You are wellorganized customerfocused and have a keen eye for detail.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in freight forwarding
- Or at least 3 years in a customerfocused operational role.
- Familiar with the road transportation industry.
- Proficiency in Hungarian and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Good IT skills including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety regulations (advantageous).
