Job Description
At Adage we continue to grow and want you to be part of our talents!
We are looking for an Accounting Analyst in Medell n.
This role involves processing financial transactions maintaining accurate records and supporting the companys overall financial operations.
Principal Duties
- Financial Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions. Responsible for performing collections activities via email and following up with clients on outstanding payments to ensure timely resolution of accounts.
- Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Excel Reporting: Create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to track financial data perform analysis and generate reports for management.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and uptodate financial records including invoices receipts and payment documentation.
- Assist with Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing requested financial information and documentation.
- General Support: Assist the accounting team with various tasks including monthend and yearend closing activities preparing journal entries and other administrative duties as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred.
Advanced English Level: B2 or higher.
23 years of experience in an accounting or finance role using accounting software (Sage SAP or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Its a plus if you have familiarity with tax filing.
